An update regarding a Kisbey resident charged in connection with a drug and firearm bust in that community in 2021.
On November 23, 2021, officers searched a home in Kisbey, and seized a stolen firearm, 52 grams of cocaine, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
22-year-old Kiera Shingoose and 23-year-old Demetrius Standingready were both to stand trial in Estevan Court of King’s Bench on drug and weapon charges.
Shingoose appeared in Estevan Court of King’s Bench on Monday, and her matter was adjourned to January 22nd.
Last month, Standingready was sentenced to two years less a day in prison, for his role in the incident.
