A Brampton, Ontario man charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, following a July drug bust on the Number One Highway, made another court appearance this week.
On July 29th, RCMP, with the assistance of Yorkton Combined Traffic Services, were conducting proactive patrols, near Indian Head, when they spotted a vehicle with illegal tint, and pulled it over.
Further observation during the stop, led to police searching the vehicle, and they confiscated approximately ten kilograms of opium poppy seed.
On Tuesday in Indian Head, 26-year-old Jagraj Singh pled guilty to the drug charge, and was handed a conditional sentence of two years less a day, along with a ten-year firearm ban.
