A man arrested in connection with threats involving weapons on the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, has failed to appear in court.
On July 20th, Virden RCMP were called to a home at Sioux Valley, where two males were allegedly threatened with a machete and a firearm.
The suspect was eventually arrested, and the firearm turned out to be a pellet gun.
41-year-old Bruce Blacksmith didn’t show up for Sioux Valley Court yesterday (Wed), so a warrant was issued for his arrest.
