Last night at approximately 11:45 PM, Virden RCMP suspected a vehicle driving well below the speed limit and pulled it over while patrolling on Highway 21 near Sioux Valley, Dakota Nation.
The Driver of the vehicle, a 40-year-old female from the community, was found to be breaching her curfew conditions and was arrested. The 35-year-old passenger had a warrant and was arrested.
Upon the search of the vehicle, Methamphetamine was located, along with other drug paraphernalia and a rifle and ammunition.
Both suspects are facing drug-related charges, and the Driver is facing firearm charges.
Both were released from custody.
