Sentencing Date Set for Man Who Admitted to Manslaughter on Skownan First Natiuon

Another court appearance has been made by a man who admitted to Manslaughter on the Skownan First Nation.

46-year-old Melvin Catcheway was in Dauphin yesterday (Tue), where he was remanded in custody for sentencing on April 26th.

Last January, Mounties were called to the reserve on a report of an assault.

When they arrived at the home, they located a 68-year old man, dead at the scene.
