A man charged in connection with a death on the Birdtail Sioux Dakota Nation, has appeared in court again.

On January 23rd, the Manitoba First Nations Police Service was called to a report of an injured man at a home on the reserve, and upon arrival, they found a 40-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

29-year-old Michael Hanska appeared in Brandon Court yesterday (Thu), charged with Second Degree Murder.

He was remanded in custody to February 23rd in Virden.
