A man charged in connection with a death in Punnichy last spring, has made another court appearance.

On April 22, 2023, RCMP received a report of an injured female at a home in the village.

31-year-old Kihaw Fox, of the Piapot First Nation, was pronounced dead at the scene.

28-year-old Ethan Sunshine, of Regina, will face a jury trial in December for Second Degree Murder, in Regina Court of King’s Bench.

He remains in custody, and his next pretrial appearance set will be on March 15th.
