Sentencing has been handed down to a man, arrested in connection with a vehicle theft near Langenburg.

In January of last year, Mounties were called to a home north of the town, on a report of a theft of a car.

A suspect was arrested the next day at a home near Carlyle, and the stolen car was recovered.

In Esterhazy Court yesterday (Tue), 38-year-old Aaron Olney was sentenced to seven months in jail, less 38 days of time already served in custody.
