Prairie Mountain Health Finds Schoonbaert’s Successor

Prairie Mountain Health has chosen a new CEO.

Treena Slate has accepted the position to take over for Brian Schoonbaert, who is set to retire.

Slate has held many roles in healthcare, including staff nurse, educator, public health nurse, director and most recently, Regional Lead – of Acute Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer for PMH.

She says she is thankful for the opportunity and is following in some incredible footsteps.

“Brian will truly be missed by all who worked with him; Prairie Mountain Health has an incredible team of over 7,500 individuals,” said Slate

She added that she is very fortunate to work alongside a dedicated staff.

Schoonbaert’s final day at PMH is April 5th.
