Three people were arrested over the weekend after a handgun was seized at a gas station in Dauphin.
On Monday afternoon, Dauphin Mounties received a report of a female with a handgun outside a residence on 5th Avenue NE in the city.
The female was seen entering a dark van with other passengers and leaving the scene.
The police located the van at a gas station on Valour Road.
A search of the vehicle led to officers locating the handgun as well as multiple knives, alcohol, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
39-year-old Cody Genaille and two females aged 33 and 35 are facing numerous drug and weapon-related charges.
Genaille remains in custody, and the females were both released with a court date.
