Another court appearance has been made by a Swan River man, charged after a vehicle was stolen and a Mountie assaulted in the town.

In the late night hours of November 22nd, RCMP received a report of a stolen truck in the town.

Thanks to a GPS unit inside the vehicle, police were able to track it down, and arrest the driver.

However, when the suspect was being placed in cells, he allegedly assaulted a Mountie.

24-year-old Allan Knight remains in custody, and will be back in The Pas Court on February 29th.
