Woman Accused of Role in Death on Keeseekoose First Nation has Charge Stayed

Another court appearance for one of four people charged in connection with a homicide on the Keeseekoose First Nation.

In Kamsack yesterday (Tue), 44-year-old Sarah Kakakaway of Calgary, had her matter stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.

She had been charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder.

In November of 2022, Kamsack RCMP were called to the Keeseekoose First Nation, where a 16-year-old Cote First Nation boy was found dead at the scene.
