A woman charged in connection with a murder on the Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation last June has made another court appearance.

26-year-old Fantasia Prince, of Sandy Bay, is charged with Second Degree Murder, and she remains in custody, to appear again on March 19th in Sandy Bay.

On June 29, 2023, the Manitoba First Nation Police Service were called to a Sandy Bay home, to a report of an injured female, and upon arrival, they found the body of a 24-year-old woman.

Mounties haven’t released the name of the victim.
