A new court date has been set for one of two Winnipeg residents, arrested in connection with the death of an Indian Head Mountie.
45-year-old Marlene Pagee was back in Regina Provincial Court Friday, charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder, and she remains in custody, with her next court date set for March 18th.
44-year-old Alphonse Traverse, who pled guilty in September to Manslaughter and Theft of a Motor Vehicle, remains in custody, with sentencing set for Thursday (Feb. 29) in Regina Court of King’s Bench.
In June of 2021 in Wolseley, Constable Shelby Patton stopped a truck that had reportedly been stolen from Manitoba, and while Patton was out of his vehicle, the truck ran him over, fatally injuring him.
