A new development in the case of a man from The Key First Nation, arrested on firearm charges.
61-year-old Lyman Papequash was in Yorkton Court of King’s Bench yesterday (Mon), where he pleaded guilty to four charges, and was sentenced to time already served in custody, and 18 months probation.
In January of last year, Mounties were called to The Key First Nation on a report of an armed man at a home there.
Papequash was arrested at another home a few hours later, and a firearm was seized at the scene.
