Bail Hearing Set For Hudson Bay Man Arrested in Firearms Trafficking Investigation

A Hudson Bay man arrested in connection with a firearms trafficking investigation, has appeared in court again.

Mounties raided a home in the area March 6th, and seized forty rifles, two handguns, about twenty more firearms in various states of disassemble, and more than 10-thousand rounds of ammunition.

They also confiscated illegal cigarettes, mint coins and gold jewelry believed to be stolen, and small amounts of cocaine and crystal meth.

In Nipawin Court yesterday (Wed), 56-year-old Steven Bondy was remanded in custody for a bail hearing in Melfort on Monday.
