A Cowessess First Nation man is one of two people charged, following an alleged case of dangerous driving in Regina.
Late Friday night, Regina Police say a vehicle sped through a red light at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Albert Street, and nearly hit a police vehicle.
The RPS Aerial Support Unit tracked the vehicle to a home on the 700-block of Albert Street, where the two men in the vehicle entered the residence, and shortly after, police entered the home, arresting the pair for dangerous driving, and a search of their vehicle turned up ammunition, a violation of conditions.
24-year-old Matthew Lerat-Polson of Cowessess and 38-year-old Jeffrey Edward Canada of Regina are to appear in Regina Provincial Court today, each charged with Dangerous Driving and Possession of Ammunition While Prohibited.
