Saskatchewan NDP name Candidate in Canora-Pelly for Next Provincial Election

The Saskatchewan NDP has named Wynn Fedorchuk as the Saskatchewan New Democrat candidate in Canora-Pelly for the upcoming provincial election. Fedorchuk was nominated by Saskatchewan New Democrat members earlier this evening.

“I am so honoured to be the candidate here in Canora-Pelly,” said Fedorchuk. “There is so much promise here in Saskatchewan. Yet, for too long the Sask Party has taken our rural communities for granted. Now is the time for a government that will take the necessary steps to ensure a brighter future for all families across this beautiful province.”

Fedorchuk is a mental health worker and community leader. He and his wife Anna grew up on farms in Canora-Pelly and work within the health care system. He is a dedicated advocate for mental health supports and improving education funding across the province.

“I’m so excited to have an amazing candidate like Wynn here in Canora-Pelly,” said Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck. “I know that Wynn truly understands the struggles faced here in our rural communities. Given his passion and dedication to his communities, I know that Canora-Pelly will be very well-served with Wynn as their MLA.”

Fedorchuk is the thirty-fifth candidate nominated for the Saskatchewan NDP in advance of the next provincial election. The next nomination for the Saskatchewan NDP will be on Sunday, April 7 in the constituency of Wood River.
