Boris Kofman scored the game winning just 6:13 into the third period to help the Humboldt Broncos to a 3-0 Game 7 victory over the Weyburn Red Wings on Tuesday night to advance to the SJHL Semi-Finals.

Spencer Bell and Maddox Amaral also scored for the Broncos who got a 30 save shutout from Benjamin Motew in the win.

Red Wings netminder Dazza Mitchell turned aside 35 of 37 shots in the loss.

The Broncos win sets up a 2nd round matchup with the Melfort Mustangs, while top-ranked Flin Flon Bombers tangle with the Battlefords North Stars in the Semi-Finals with both series most likely to get underway on Thursday night.
