The Roblin community is getting a new fire engine.
The Manitoba government announced today that they are providing 585,000 dollars for a made-in-Manitoba fire truck for Roblin Fire and Rescue.
Funding for the fire truck is part of the top-up to the rural strategic infrastructure basket and aligns with the province.
The new truck is a top-mount enclosed pumper, a much-needed upgrade on the current truck, which was purchased in 1991.
