Man Arrested Following Chase on Ebb & Flow First Nation Heads to Trial

A trial date has been set for a man, arrested in connection with a police chase on the Ebb & Flow First Nation.

In December, Ste. Rose RCMP attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled.

It went off the road and the driver tried to hid in the brush, but was arrested.

A search turned up 4-thousand dollars in cash, about 957 grams of crystal meth, 223 grams of cocaine, and 30 grams of crack cocaine.

33-year-old Edward Sutherland is scheduled to stand trial in Brandon on August 30th.
