Hey friends! 🌟 I’m continuing my journey of watching movies I haven’t seen before, and this weekend I had the pleasure of watching 80 for Brady. Let me tell you, I am still buzzing! This movie has everything I love: a girl’s trip adventure and a heartwarming sports story all rolled into one. It’s a perfect combination of laughter, tears, and cheering for the underdog! And it has an original song called “Gotta Be You” which sung by the iconic Dolly Parton, as well as Belinda Carlisle, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan, and Debbie Harry.

The movie is about these four friends who love Tom Brady more than anything, and decide to travel to Houston for the 2017 Super Bowl and watch him play. In the days leading up to the big game, one of them ends up in a Guy Fieri hot wings competition, one makes out with a football player in a closet, one of them ends up playing poker with a bunch of celebrities. Basically, hilarity ensues!

And the chemistry between Rita Moreno, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Sally Field is absolutely unmatched. They truly make you believe that they are lifelong friends who share that deep love for Tom Brady. The way they support each other, crack jokes, and navigate the ups and downs of their adventure together is so heartwarming and relatable.

I found myself laughing out loud one moment and then wiping away tears the next. The movie’s message about friendship, perseverance, and the power of believing in yourself really hit home for me. It shows that no matter what challenges we face, having a solid group of friends by our side can make all the difference.
