Manitoba has issued an overland flood warning for the Swan River, The Pas, and Flin Flon areas.

Forecasters are monitoring a precipitation system that could bring up to 50 millimetres of rain and snow mix in those areas for today (Tue), tomorrow (Wed), and Thursday.

A flood warning remains in place for the Assiniboine River between Shellmouth Dam and Brandon.

Water levels are expected to be over the banks at these locations until the first week of May.
