Hey movie lovers! 🎥 So, I finally got around to watching Argylle on my last day of my AppleTV+ free trial and let me tell you, it was quite the ride!

I had heard some mixed reviews about the movie, but the trailer looked so interesting, the cast was absolutely stacked (Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, John Cena, Catherine O’Hara, Bryan Cranston, and Samuel L. Jackson), and look at that adorable kitty! Let me just say, I’m not mad that I watched this. The plot twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat in the beginning; it’s definitely rollercoaster of emotions and suspense!

But I have to admit, it was a bit too twisty for me. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love a good plot twist as much as the next person, but after the fourth twist I was like, “okay, this is too much”, and there were still more twists after that. I understand with movies sometimes you have to be willing to use your suspension of disbelief, you know, just throw logic out the window. But there were a few moments where I sat there thinking, “what the heck am I watching?”

Overall, though, the action scenes were intense, I was laughing at the jokes, and the cast definitely put their all into the movie. Just the script itself wasn’t for me, I guess. But if you’re a fan of the Kingsman movies, then this movie is definitely worth checking out. It’s made by the same director and takes place in the same universe.

But just because the movie wasn’t for me, doesn’t mean it’s not for you. So, if you’re looking for a movie to watch this weekend, I maybe give Argylle a try. Just be prepared for a wild ride of twists and turns! 🍿🎬
