Guilty Plea from Man Arrested in Yorkton Drug Bust

A man arrested in a drug bust in Yorkton, that resulted in the seizure of cocaine and cash, has admitted his guilt.

Last July, Mounties raided homes on Broadway Street West and Sixth Avenue North, as part of an ongoing investigation.

They seized about 94 grams of cocaine, along with a large amount of cash.

In Yorkton Court today (Mon), 19-year-old Abdi Nur of Edmonton, pleaded guilty to possession for the purpose of trafficking, and received a conditional sentence of two years, to be served in the community.
