A new court date has been set for a Muskowekwan First Nation man charged following a shooting on the reserve.
Punnichy RCMP say that in December of 2021, two men got into an argument at a home, and one was shot by the other, with the victim being treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
In January, 36-year-old Donovan Oochoo pleaded guilty to Discharging a Firearm with Intent, and Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited.
Oochoo was to have been sentenced Thursday in Regina Court of King’s Bench, but he was remanded in custody, with sentencing adjourned to August 9.
