Every May 13-17, the Yorkton RCMP hosts its annual Bike Safety Rodeo.

The Rodeo kicked off today at Columbia Elementary, the first of eight visits to schools throughout the week, totalling around 253 students.

Each Grade Three class will receive a bike safety presentation from an RCMP member and are tasked with completing an obstacle course to practice their skills. 

With the help of sponsors like Canadian Tire, Hometown Source for Sports, and Yorkton Kinsmen Club, each student will go home with a free bike helmet.
