Do you ever find yourself feeling like a responsible, mature adult one moment, only to revert back to a mischievous little kid the next? Yeah, me too. It’s like we have this internal struggle between wanting to follow the rules and wanting to rebel against them at the same time.
I mean, come on, who hasn’t been told not to do something and immediately felt the urge to do it just because we were told not to? It’s like our inner child comes out to play, throwing caution to the wind and embracing the thrill of breaking the rules. Like this moment right here.
But let’s be real, being an adult means having to make responsible decisions and abide by societal norms. We can’t just throw tantrums or stomp our feet when we don’t get our way (or we do, but we keep it on the inside).
In the end it’s all about finding that sweet spot between being a mature adult and letting your inner child shine through. So go ahead, break a few rules, have a little fun, and remember that it’s okay to be a kid at heart sometimes. BUT NOT WHEN IT’S DANGEROUS!
