Dauphin RCMP Crack Down On Drugs and Weapons Over May Long Weekend

Dauphin RCMP was out in full force over the long weekend,

From May 17 to 19, there was an increased traffic enforcement to get drugs and guns off the streets, and they made four traffic stops varying from wanted men, Possession of Drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Weapons, and theft.

Dauphin RCMP Sergeant Scott Linklater says the increased presence not only makes the roads safer but also gets the drugs and guns off the streets in the community.

The amount of drugs seized was more than 108 grams of cocaine, more than 105 grams of methamphetamine, and 30 grams of psilocybin.
