Teens Charged in Drug and Weapon Bust by Winnipegosis RCMP

Three Teens have been charged in a drug and weapon bust by Winnipegosis RCMP.

This past Sunday, Winnipegosis conducted a traffic stop at a local First Nation, where three males were arrested after Mounties spotted drug paraphernalia in plain view.

After a search of the vehicle, Officers turned up illicit cannabis, crack cocaine, a sawed-off shotgun, a handgun, ammunition and cash.

18-year-old Damien Moosetail from Dauphin, a 16-year-old from Duck Bay, and a 15-year-old from Camperville are each chated with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of cannabis for the Purpose of Selling, and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.

All three were remanded into custody.
