Kidsport Jersey Day in Yorkton wrapped up, and it was a rounding success.
Yorkton Schools raised over 3000 dollars towards Kidsport.
There was a challenge among the schools in Yorkton, and St. Michael’s won the first annual Kidsport Jersey Day Cup.
Chairman of Yorkton Kidsport Doug Jonassen says the company is grateful for the community’s willingness to help kids get into sports.
Thanks to this initiative, more children are stepping off the sidelines and actively participating in sports, fulfilling Kidsport’s core mission.
Over 7300 dollars was raised this year for the the local Kidsport.
