A new court date has been set for a man arrested in connection with the search of a home in Archerwill.
In March of 2022, Mounties seized quantities of cash, several weapons, such as a machete, taser, and an illegally-modified firearm, and drugs including OxyContin and other assorted pills, along with crystal meth and LSD.
56-year-old Rudi Betthel, of Bjorkdale also faces similar charges stemming from the search of a home there that month, and he’ll be back in Saskatoon Court for a bail hearing Thursday.
Last week, his co-accused, 40-year-old Holly Schweitzer of Archerwill was sentenced to 850 days in jail for her role in the incidents.
