Yorkton Man Who Admitted to Making Threat Against YRHS Gets a Sentencing Date

A new court date has been set for a man, who admitted to making an online threat to the Yorkton Regional High School.

25-year-old Austin Ross of Yorkton, was in Yorkton Friday, where he had his sentencing adjourned for decision to September 23.

His co-accused, 22-year-old Cole Swain of Margo, returns to court on August 6.

In March of last year, there was a report of a threat to the Yorkton Regional High School, but police determined there was no danger posed to students or staff.
