CUPE 5430 launches campaign to put pressure on the province and Sask. health Authority to get deal done

CUPE 5430 has launched a campaign, that they say is aimed at getting the provincial government and Saskatchewan Health Authority to stop stalling at the bargaining table.

To kick off the campaign, CUPE is planning to visit members in a number of communities across the province this week, including Theodore, Ituna, Preeceville, Invermay, Foam Lake.

CUPE 5430 has also launched an online action tool, inviting the public to sign a letter, in which they urge the province and SHA to negotiate in good faith, and deliver a fair deal to CUPE health care workers.

The union represents 14-thousand health care workers across Saskatchewan, including those in hospitals, long-term care facilities and home care services.
