A woman charged in connection with a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Highway 49 in Preeceville, has appeared in court again.
Last June, Mounties were called to the scene, where an investigation determined that a woman allegedly threatened to injure two women, before driving toward them, hitting one of them.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, that were treated in hospital.
40-year-old Crissa Kisser of Preeceville pleaded guilty to four charges, including two counts of Assault with a Weapon, Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm, and Failing to Stop After an Accident Causing Bodily Harm.
Two counts of Attempted Murder were stayed by the Crown.
In Yorkton Court of King’s Bench on July 25, she received a total of 1,460 days in prison, though with credit for time served, she will spend another 870 days behind bars going forward.
She was also given a two-year driving prohibition, a ten-year firearm ban, and she must provide a DNA sample.
