A new court date has been set for a Muskowekwan First Nation man, charged following a shooting on the reserve.
Punnichy RCMP say that in December of 2021, two men got into an argument at a home, and one was shot by the other, with the victim being treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
In January, 36-year-old Donovan Oochoo pleaded guilty to Discharging a Firearm With Intent, and Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited.
Oochoo was to have been sentenced on Friday in Regina, but he was remanded in custody for his new sentencing date of August 30.
