A Fishing Lake First Nation man wanted in connection with armed robberies at businesses in Wadena and Foam Lake, is now being sought by Melfort RCMP, on charges stemming from an armed robbery at a home in the R.M. of Spalding.
On Monday morning, Mounties say two masked individuals, armed with firearms, allegedly entered the home and pointed the weapons at the two people inside the residence, before stealing two firearms and electronics, and fleeing the scene in a vehicle, which was later found to have been reported stolen in Humboldt.
One suspect, 23-year-old Bohdey Bussiere, of Spalding, was arrested during a traffic stop on the Fishing Lake First Nation, in which the vehicle, and three weapons, including the two taken during the armed robbery. He is scheduled to appear in Melfort today on numerous charges.
Meanwhile, Mounties are still on the lookout for 34-year-old Joseph “Joey” Desjarlais, who faces a number of new charges, including Break and Enter, Robbery with a Firearm, and wearing a Mask to Commit an Offense, related to Monday’s incident.
He is described as being five foot, seven inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown eyes, short brown hair and a short beard, along with tattoos of the words”public” and “enemy” with flames on his hands, and “Bonnie and Clyde” on the right side of his neck.
