Sure, the CFL West Final might not have gone our way this year (Bombers beating Riders 38-22), but I think it’s time to share some love for the Saskatchewan Roughriders!
Throughout this whole season, the Riders have shown their talent, grit, and heart. From not even making the playoffs last year to playing in the West Final is still a huge victory for them! As fans, we’ve been there with them at every game, even through all the nail-biting moments down to the last second.
So, what’s next for the Riders? I’m guessing a little break to relax and recharge. Each new season brings fresh talent, hope, and the renews the belief that the Roughriders are going to do even better next year. We’ll be ready to show our pride green and white, filling Mosaic stadium with cheers, and doing what Rider fans do best: standing by our team no matter what! Even if that means cheering for the Argos in the Grey Cup. (The motto for Rider Nation for the next week is probably “as long as Winnipeg doesn’t win.”)
