Hey, iced tea lovers! If you’re anything like me, cans, bottles, or even a pitcher of iced tea is a must-have is the fridge, even if it’s frigid out. I honestly consider it a national drink, right up there with double-doubles and iced capps. But, oh boy, do I have some news for you if you’re a fan of Nestea!
Coca-Cola is retiring Nestea to make room for their brand-new Fuze Iced Tea. Naturally, this announcement has caused quite the stir, with fans across Canada rushing to stores, stocking up on every last can and bottle of Nestea they can find. It is every man for himself out there!
But before you go into panic-buy mode too, there is some good news. Nestea isn’t disappearing after all! Thanks to Keurig Dr. Pepper Canada (KDP Canada), who’s snagged the licensing agreement, Nestea is going to be staying right here in Canada for all of us to enjoy.
So, no need to clear out the shelves just yet. Instead, pour yourself a glass (of iced tea, of course) and raise it to celebrate! Whether you’re excited to try Fuze, more of a Brisk person, or happy to stick with Nestea, our love for iced tea in the Great White North lives on. Cheers, everyone!
