Town of Swan River hires new Chief Administrative Officer

The Town of Swan River has announced the hiring of Will Tewnion as its new Chief Administrative Officer.

Tewnion, who will take over the role in March, has spent the past five years in a number of  Director roles with the Yukon government, following a 29-year career with the RCMP.

Swan River is familiar territory for Tewnion, who was the local RCMP Detachment Commander, from 2007 to 2010.

Until Tewnion arrives, Darren Harvey is serving as interim CAO.
