A man charged following an incident on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation last spring, has admitted his guilt.
In Dauphin Provincial Court Monday, 26-year-old Errol Leask was sentenced to 402 days of time already served in custody.
Last May, Swan River RCMP received reports of a man wielding a weapon and threatening people on the reserve, before the suspect took a family member’s vehicle.
Mounties located and tried to stop him, but he fled, driving recklessly, and after crashing the vehicle, he was arrested with the assistance of community members.
