The jury trial for a former education assistant at Vibank Regional School, charged with sexual exploitation, got underway Monday.

The trial for 40-year-old Stacey Duke, of the R.M. of Francis, and is scheduled to continue through Friday, in Regina Court of King’s Bench.

In October of 2022, Indian Head RCMP received a report of inappropriate online communication between an adult female and a male student within the division.

A second alleged male victim within the division was identified by police during the course of the investigation.
