The Kamsack Volunteer Fire Department tackled two fires on Cote First Nation on consecutive Saturdays in February.
On Feb. 15th, a house fire in Badgerville was extinguished before it could destroy the structure. The cause is unknown.
A week later, on Feb. 22nd, a mobile home fire erupted. Firefighters attempted to contain it, but the home was lost. No one was inside either building at the time.
