Yorkton Chamber to Host Town Hall on Property Assessment and Taxes

The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Yorkton, is hosting a Town Hall meeting to help the public better understand property assessment and taxation.

The event will take place at 7:00 PM in the National Bank Convention Centre at the Gallagher Centre. Guest speakers include Sheldon Stechyshyn, Regional Manager of the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA), and Ashley Stradeski, Director of Finance for the City of Yorkton.

With tax notices recently issued, the meeting aims to address common questions from businesses and residents. The Chamber encourages the public to attend this free event to gain insight into the assessment and taxation process.
