Ever had one of those nights where sleep seems like a distant dream? Well, that was me last night. As the clock ticked past midnight, I found myself wide awake, and to make things more interesting, my furry companion Barkley decided to join the insomnia party.
Just before 1 AM, Barkley made it clear that nature was calling, and I was the lucky one to accompany him on a moonlit stroll to the backyard. With the crisp night air and a sky full of stars, it was almost serene — if only I wasn’t longing for some shut-eye!
Fast forward to 4 AM, and there I was, already at work, gearing up for the day ahead while most of the world was still tucked away in dreamland. Despite the lack of sleep, there’s something about those quiet early hours that can be oddly invigorating.
But let’s be real, a nap is definitely on today’s agenda. Who else is with me on needing a midday recharge?
