Saskatchewan has expanded its Rural and Remote Recruitment Incentive program to include 16 additional communities, bringing the total number of eligible locations to 70. The program offers up to $50,000 over three years to new, permanent full-time employees in nine high-priority health occupations working in rural and remote areas facing staffing challenges.
The RRRI has helped fill over 420 hard-to-recruit positions across the province. The newly added communities include Balcarres, Carrot River, Foam Lake, Grenfell, Maryfield and Raymore.
More information on eligible occupations, communities, and application details can be found on the Saskatchewan government’s website.
