Grass Fire impacting driving visibility near Melville

Saskatchewan RCMP advise the public that a grass fire is impacting drivers’ visibility in the Melville area.

Officers, along with local fire services, are currently responding to a fire located on Westview Road, approximately one kilometre west of Melville, near the junction of Highway #47 and Highway #10.

Officers on scene report that visibility is reduced, with zero visibility in some areas.

If you are driving in the area, please slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene. Motorists should expect delays.

Saskatchewan RCMP remind the public to avoid calling 911 or local RCMP detachments for updates on road conditions.
