New Court Date for Woman Accused of Death on Sioux Valley Dakota Nation

A woman charged with Manslaughter in connection with a death on the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, has appeared in court again.

29-year-old Corrie Hart was in Brandon Court of King’s Bench last week, where she had her matter adjourned to November 5.

In March of last year, Virden RCMP responded to a wellness check at a home on the reserve..

Upon arrival, they discovered a 64-year-old man, dead at the scene.
