The CN Employees’ and Pensioners’ Community Fund, one of Canada’s largest employee-run charities, has donated $5,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton and Area. Operated by CN staff and retirees for over 56 years, the Fund supports a wide range of Canadian charities through fundraising events and annual campaigns.
The donation, made possible by the Fund’s 2024 CN Canucks Alumni Challenge in Vancouver—a charity hockey match featuring CN employees and former NHL players—will support local mentoring programs for youth.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton expressed gratitude, noting the gift will have a lasting impact by helping young people realize their potential through quality mentorship.
