Today, I’m surrounded by the ultimate cuteness overload. I’m at FFun Motorsports for their Garage Sale going on today and tomorrow, and they have Paws and Claws Animal Rescue here with their adorable squad: Daisy, Pistachio, Pecan, and Arabella! At just 3 and 4 months old, these rescue puppies are melting hearts left and right, and it’s taking everything in me not to scoop them all up and head home.
These little furballs remind me of the joy my husband and I shared with our puppy Olive. A Pug cross with a Boston Terrier, a “Bug”, who brought 14 years of love into our lives.
I would so love to have a new family dog but when I really think about it, the reality hits hard. With life zooming by—especially watching my 4-year-old’s cherub cheeks slowly disappearing—adding a puppy to the mix seems daunting. Can anyone else relate to the whirlwind of parenting alongside everything else life throws at you?
For now, I’ll cherish these moments of puppy cuddles and wagging tails, soaking up their pure, unfiltered joy.
